My journey with mosaics began when I stumbled upon an old window frame left on the street. It was weathered, worn, and ready to be thrown away. But I saw possibility. I started collecting tiny pieces of glass—some shiny, some opaque, some colorful—and began arranging them within the frame. What came out of that experience was not just a piece of art, but a profound reminder: even the broken pieces of life can create something beautiful.

Springfield Art Guild is a non-profit group founded in 1969 and serves the community’s interest in fine art, fine crafts and photography. We sponsor educational programs, art exhibits, juried shows, classes for adults and children, art scholarships for high school or college students, and local art events.
