About Laura
Laura Ramirez-Drain
- Mexican American artist and arts leader based in Northern Virginia. She is Mexican American and she has lived in the USA for more than 25 years .
- She move to USA in 1999 after been tranfer by Hewlett packard where se worked as a sales engineer. She became citizen of USA in 2004.
- She works in fusion glass, acrylic, and mixed media, creating expressive pieces inspired by light, emotion, and movement. Her work has been exhibited in multiple regional galleries, and she has received recognition including an award from the Springfield Art Guild.
- In addition to her artistic practice, Laura brings over 20 years of professional experience in sales, organization, and client relations, with a strong focus on accountability and results. She has actively contributed to several art organizations in the region and is committed to supporting artists and building community through the arts.
